Got rear ended today
Well, looks like ill be needing a new rear bumper, right taillight, exhaust tips, trunk and a few minor things.
I was hit standing still by a turbo volvo about a 1/2 hour ago. His airbags bothe deployed, shattering the windshield and his front bumper collapsed, spilling coolant all over the road. Fortunately we both were alright. I'll have pictures and maybe video up soon since this happened during a city wide cruise.

Damn, another ES casualty... Good to hear no one was hurt, though it sounds like the guy's car was in worse damage than yours. Was he talking on a cell phone when it happened?

I was also rear-ended...and it sure don't feel too good . Is your rear end as bad as mine? Lucky for me, his insurance totalled it and I managed to get another 95 ES300 which looks even cleaner and has no known problems so far...and I only payed $1000 difference for it. Bought the car last week, today got the clear corner done, car stereo back in...tinting will come later.
I hope things will work out for the better for you as it did for me. I prayed everynight and it sure did work. I had to fight with the insurance company because I didn't have collision coverage, waited 2 weeks for them to decide to pay me. But now I got full coverage and rental for the new ES, cost $150 a month, $60 for minimum coverage I had on the old car.
I thought volvo are tough cars, made like super hard thick metal, so how is his car so messed up? Was there any witness?

The damage was not nearly as bad as yours, mainly because the quarter panels were unscathed. I have full coverage, but the other guy's insurance company is paying for everything. I'm not sure how my car didnt get as much damage as his. There were a few witnesses (4-5) to the actual crash, but there were about 30 people in the cruise group who got out of their cars immediately after it happened to check the damage out.

Doh, sorry to hear that. At least you were able to walk away from the incident.
