Default '95 ES300 horn not working

No, I have not yet gone through the fuses. It was working when I first got the car a little over a year ago and now is not. It was intermittent and then went out completely.

replace it. you can test the horn by putting 12v across the poles (pins), if it doesn't work it's stuffed.

It's located under the bumper i think (passengers side usa), it's fairly easy to get too.

Is there a DIY for this? I am hesitant to start tearing into the steering column. I have not yet checked YouTube, but I will do that. Not sure how easy the leads are to get to.

hey dude, I'm not sure you understood me. There is no need to go near the steering column.

The horn is located under the front headlight, right side, at the front of the car. simply put your head under the bumper and find it there. disconnect the cable and then remove the bolt holding the horn.

once on your work bench, put 12 volts cross the two pins in the plug, if the horn doesn't go it's stuffed. replace it.

Yes, I misunderstood. I did see in some YouTube videos and knew that was the horn. I just did not know that is where you meant. Napa appears to have a few different Balkamp options. I also see a horn relay by Echlin Ignition.

You really should start by checking your fuses first. No need to tear anything apart YET.

Good idea.

Anyone know which horn is most like OEM? I see high note, low note and some with freeway blaster. If I have to replace the horn that is.
