I managed to lock my master key in the car with the running lights on. I used a locksmith one other time when I locked the key in the car when out of town and he was able to unlock from the outside with his tools. The master key is behind the drivers side visor. The original valet key is in the glove box. If the locksmith cannot open the car, can I order another valet key from the dealer from my VIN? If so, what would the cost be? Any other suggestions?

A dealer can make you a key from your VIN they will very likely require proof of ownership. The cost will be less than a locksmith and you'll have another spare key that you will hopefully not keep in the car.

Wrecker was able to get into my wifes car when she locked the key in but they had to work togther. He did the old pry the door slightly away from the fram and use a thin, bent bar to hit the door unlock but, my wife had to be lightning quick on the door handle to get it open before it locked automatically. You'll then have to turn off the car alarm, if your battery isn't dead yet.

I went the Locksmith route, $65.00 to unlock and he quoted $85.00 for a 2nd non master key that he said would start the car. thanks for the input.
