2003 Es300 corner headlight bulb replacement

I'm trying to replace the corner bulb in my es300 but the driver side bulb seems impossible to reach with my big hands. Are you supposed to access this bulb from the wheel well like the side markers?

No, from under the hood. May be easier to remove the headlight to get clean access to it.

I eventually got to it by taking out the battery to get easier access.
