Which side of the vehicle?

The driver's side is a PITA. Passenger side is pretty straight forward.

Trying to jog my memory.... There should be a ballast attached to the back of the housing. That should screw off. There will be a cable attached to the bulb from that. Disconnect that. There will be a clip that you need to squeeze and remove. It is hinged, so once you release it from the bulb, it will be hanging from the other side. Turn the bulb, keeping and eye how it is notched and where the notches go, so that re-installing the new bulb will be easier. Do NOT touch the bulb glass. Use nitrite gloves if you have them. Follow the steps in reverse order.

If you need to replace the driver side, you may have to come through the wheel well. Turn your wheels all the way to the passenger side. There will be a panel that you can remove with a screwdriver.

the bulbs are not cheap. if you buy one I would take it up with Lexus to reimburse you for the cost under warranty as the car is not legally operable with a failed headlight which would otherwise be covered under warranty.

Yeah, passenger side is tight, but driver side is awful because of the wiper fluid reservoir.

You get D4S bulb? I actually have both of my original bulbs from my 2013. The thing is, I don't think I ever used them. Swapped them out the first day I had my 2013 for the Philips Ultinon 6K bulbs. They've been sitting in the Ultinon box for the last 6 years. I'm sure they still work. I have the LED headlights on my 16 now, so they're of no use to me.

You'll need to push the outside of those fasteners back down, before putting everything back together. When you put the fastener back in, don't push down too far, then you'll have to do it all over again. Just the right amount of pressure until the button is flush.

Ultinons are 6k. Won’t necessarily last longer, just a more white/blue color than the stock 4300 bulbs.
