Default ECU Failing? Check engine light failing?
Hey everyone. So my 99 es300 check engine light turned off today randomly.
Checking on my code reader it appears all emissions have completed their test apparently.
(Thinking I reset my codes on accident)
I've had a evap code for a while now that needs to be fixed. So no check engine light is impossible.
Codes are still stored in the computer and Trac off light is on.

I cleared my codes and will report back.

Well once the monitors complete their checks and if no faults reappear the CEL will turn off on it's own. This is a good thing.

Codes are back. The check engine light it self failed haha.
