Default Check engine light on but?!?!? Cant pull codes

After I changed my sparkplugs and wires when I drive after awhile, check engine light turns on.
I jumped FE1 & E1 to pull the codes, but it just stays solid check engine light not blinking.

Unplug battery, grab a beer or two, hook back up...see if CEL light is still on.

It is te1 and e1,

if you still can't pull codes, you've got a dead ecu on your hands

is yours a 300 or 400? If it's a 400, the knock sensor sits underneath the intake manifold lol

There are 2 on the sc300 under the intake on the driver side

It could just be a bad connection at the sensor, the housings and wire gets very brittle over time and with the heat cycling they go through

The front one is a pain in the ***, it's above the ac compressor and behind the power steering pump. you may want to remove the ps pump

The other one is close to cyl #5 you should be able to inspect it without removing much
