Changing 100A alternator fuse in lexus 1997 es300
I dismantled the fuse box under the hood to replace my 100A fuse that had blown out but in the process forgot to keep track of which wires connect where in the casing that has 100A fuse. The casing has 2 bolts on each side, 10mm on one and 8mm on the other. There are a total of 4 wires that connect to these bolts - green single wire, green double wire merging into one, a red single wire and a double black wire merging into one. I have posted two pictures that show both sides of the casing, the 10 mm side and the 8 mm side with the 100 A fuse in the blue color on top.
Can someone please help to me figure out which wire connects where. Thanks

Hi Steven,
Power windows, A/c, windshield wiper - none of them were working. I checked all the fuses that are located on the driver's side inside the car first and they all tested fine. Then I checked the 100 A fuse which is when I discovered that it had burnt out. It is likely that I blew the fuse when replacing my battery and maybe I plugged it in the wrong way.
Do you think you can take a picture of both sides of your casing? Thanks

You can go here to see what it looks like on a 2000 Camry I4. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/10...ible-link.html It looks fairly similar.

I was able to fix it. Everything is working now. I realized today that the wire connectors through which the nut passes to attach to the casing only allow a 8mm nut in one side and 10mm nut in the other. This eliminated the need for guessing which 2 wires go where. And using the pictures you posted, the ground/ green wire on both sides of the casing connect to the bolts that don't pass through the 100 A fuse.
Thanks again Tom
