Fog Light Mod Help!
I have a 2004 ES330 and was interested in performing the fog light mod. I could not seem to find the fog light relay in the fuse box under the hood but I know there is a couple of relays near the fuse box in the drivers foot well area. Does anyone have some more info on which relay is the fog light or want to shine some light on this topic? I have a decent understanding of what the idea is all about. Thanks!

So I did some research for you, but I can't confirm this is 100% accurate only because I have a 2001 and no access to a 2004+. By searching through a part diagram, I found #3 (highlighted) to be the fog lamp relay (based on Sewell Lexus part diagrams).
If you follow the fog lamp mod here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...witch-mod.html He states that this is only based on his knowledge of a 2001. So I cannot confirm that this will work on your model or even that what I showed you is the Fog lamp relay, but you will have to look into it yourself a little bit. There might be other members with 330's that have tried this mod successfully, hopefully they chime in.

That diagram actually does resemble what the relay locations look like. Would an easy way to test that relay be to remove the highlighted one and flip the fogs on. If they don't come on, I found the relay or would I mess something up possibly? Thanks for the diagram though, really appreciate it! Hopefully others chime in too! I will post some pics later as well of some of the simple things I have done so far.

I forgot to mention how to test it. Yes I would try that and see if the fogs don't turn on. It won't do anything badly because there's no current running through there without the relay. Let us know how it goes!

I've done the mod on my Solara which is the same as the 3ES:
I don't have access to all the wiring diagrams for the 4ES, but I'd speculate the wiring is the same.
You can also find out if that's the fog relay by putting your finger on it and feeling if it clicks when you turn on the fogs.
As much as I'd like independent fogs on my 4ES, I just haven't gotten around to it. I'd have to figure out how to disable the DRL's to get the right look with the fogs as running lights.
Document your work if you do get it working.

Thanks for the info speedkar! I just got it done and here it is! DRL's arent on since its on ACC mode. Pretty easy actually. All I did was get some extra wire and wire tap the the top left vertical prong. I then wrapped the wire with electrical tape. I then ran the wire to the fuse box and found a fuse that is only active whenever the car is in either ACC mode or actually running. I tapped the fuse and done! Plug the relay back in and clean up. It should work where the fogs can be on with DRL'S and Low Beams...High Beams still cause them to shut off

Oh wow you don't mess around! Great work! Unfortunately none of us have found a solution for the high beams causing the fogs to turn off.
I have no clue you disable DRLs on the 2004, but I know for the 97-01, you unplug the passenger high beam and they're no longer on. You do only get a drivers side high beam though. You can try it with your car and see, I can't imagine it wouldn't work.

Thank you! I will look into the high beam and fog combo soon! Maybe the high beam is based upon the same idea as the DRL's. I am wondering if one of the flat prongs is the connection for the high beams and connecting that as well to a 12v source would remedy the issue?

I read somewhere a long time ago that it is a US DOT requirement that fog lights must turn off when the high beams are on. No idea why, but I made sure the fogs in my pickup do the same when I built the custom lighting upgrade harness.
