Default Cannot turn off heat/AC

I have a 2005 ES330, and can't seem to be able to completely turn OFF the hear or AC (depending on how you set the temperature). Pressed all buttons, disabled dual heating button.

The best I can is have the windshield button pressed in (orange button visible), and temperature at 28. You still feel a bit of heat being given off in the vents pointing to the windshield.

Can you not turn off heat/AC completely - ie. have not heat/cold air at all?

I messed with all buttons around, and not matter what I do, there is still air being blown out the vents. The weakest air is blown out when you have the windshield button pressed in (and everything else off). I can't seem to get to stop air (be hot or cool) from coming into the car.

There has to be a button which stops all air, no?

Have you tried pressing "OFF"? Okay, just checking... Maybe try resetting the ECM by disconnecting the negative from the battery for a few minutes?

Press the "OFF" button, and then press the "Recycle" button. There will then be zero airflow.
