So I had my timing belt and water pump replaced at the dealer a few weeks ago. I asked for the old parts back for my amusement.
Today I took a look at the old water pump and noticed that one teeth on the impeller is broken.
Should I be worried? Is there any risk of that piece being trapped somewhere that could potentially cause problems?
The car seems to operate normally as far as I can tell.
Cheers.

They may have broken it when they removed it. If all is well I wouldn't worry about it
