Post Interior Swap

Sup everyone......Aight, well ever since my dad gave me his Lexus I had always wanted to switch the interior from tan to black. Since my leather has been getting older, cracks are showing up in the seats. The color of my car is burgandy so i guess if i have a black interior it will look pretty nice.
Over the few past weeks I have been searching through local junk yards for black interior. Just yesterday I came upon a 92' ES 300. The car it self was totaled but the interior was unharmed. I examined the whole interior and saw that the interior itself was flawless. I gave the guy a offer of $650 and he accepted it. He has also agreed to strip the interior of that car for me. I have never swaped interiors before, but my friend will be helping me out. This coming weekend we will take on the task of doing a full interior swap.

So do you guys think I got a good deal? and do you think its worth it?

Note: i havent seen any lexus like mine with black interior.

Thanks

I have a '96 ES, black/w black leather, and I bought Coach Edition seats off eBay for $152 (they were being auctioned by a nearby salvage yard). Put in them myself, realized the fronts weren't heated, so I paid an upholstery shop to swap the covers onto my heated seats. Better condition by far than my old seats.
Obviously, that's a lot easier than a full interior swap. By my count, you'd need the following swaps:

headliner(gray on cars with the black interior)
dash
steering wheel
SRS units
plastic trim for A, B, and C pillars
door panels
center console
armrest
shift ****/e-brake ****
seat belts
seats
rearview mirror

Lexus likes to hide mounting/fastening points for things to give the car a clean, finished look (I couldn't believe it when I got in a friend's Pontiac the other day and there were visible screwheads everywhere). This just means you need a little bit of patience taking stuff apart, I've removed the door panels and seats, nothing else on that list.

I forgot a few more obvious things:
carpet
mats
package shelf

Well, you should have everything you need from the donor car.

Edit: I've seen the red with black interior on the 92-93 ES, which may be a brighter red than on the 94-96.
I've noticed that the 94-96 burgandy have a darker red bottom, versus the 92-93 which were red with the gray bottom. Is yours red with the darker shade of red for the bottom color, almost monotone looking? Those I've only seen with the beige interior, to the best of my web-browsing.

I think the only exterior color that wouldn't look right with a black interior is beige. Other than that, black goes well with most exterior colors.
