Stranded in my car

hi everyone......

my car battery died on me and i was stranded in manhatten, now i looked in my battery and theres no battery fluid, should i throw away the battery and get a new one? or should i just refill the battery fluid?

i was able to charge it and drive it home....

argh..

Depending on how long the battery has been in use. I would refill the battery if it's somewhat new (>2 yrs). ut if you want to play it safe, get a new one. I was stranded on a frozen,rainy night in philly cause of my battery ~ I replaced it with a brnad new one - I refuse to have that problem ever agani!

It's a deep cycle battery with 8 or 900 cold cranking amps. Your car WILL start everytime. Theyre really good for running stereo systems too.

red top should do the trick... I personally think yellow top is an overkill unless you have tons of ICE (i.e. 1000W amp) in your car

Heh, I used to say that but now that I have owned a Red Top for a while, I need more juice! It always works out that way.

so can it take the place of a capacitor? how much do they go for?

btw, jasonchen...nice camry....ever look into fitting a camry kit on the ES?
