Another update. I replaced the struts with Monroe quick struts, replaced the sway bar bushings with energy suspension bushings, and replaced the sway bar links. Each step reduced the noise but in the end there was still more noise than I thought there should be. This next part is the nutty part. After getting going through an automatic car wash that cleaned the bottom of the car, the noise was reduced to unnoticeable levels. If I concentrate I can still hear the noise. Is that crazy or what?

Water usually lubricated bushings. I have the same issue and cant figure it out. THinking it might be subframe.
