Please Help!!/ 2004 ES 330 engine noise after timing belt replacement
Hi, I just purchased 2004 es 330 with 95k miles, today I decide to change the timing belt.
I ran the engine before I confirm that cam pulleys and crank pulley marks are align with timing marks on the engine. (I was stupid)
After I correctly installed timing belt, (rotated crankshaft twice and confirmed all marks on pulleys align with timing mark on the engine) engine makes knocking noise. It is not really harsh, but it is sounds like my old 92 honda civic.
what might cause the noise? Did I miss anything while I change timing belt?
Did i screw up the valves? (engine didn't make any loud noise when I first ran though) I so scared that I might screw up the engine......
any advice will be appreciated
Thanks
