well I stopped my car for about 45minutes got back in started her up and I here this loud TIKING pop the hood and notice that its coming from ACC. Belt/ Timing belt area, the ACC. belt is due for a change. I hope it’s the tentioner and not something like cam bearing. Has any one had ticking from a bad tentioner?

My best suggestion would be to at least pop off the front part of the valve cover and take a look at the condition of your belt. That is a lot of miles, assuming it is the original belt.

Why don't you try poping the acc-belt off, And run the car for a few seconds and see if the noise goes away. It could be a number of things. But it sound like it is coming from the front of the engine. keep us posted on the problem. GL

 

i will, its time for a ACC belt change and i pritty sure its the tentioner bering so ima take care of that this week then ill kno forsure. Tnx for the help guys
