yes i removed the protective cap. and it was running for a couple of days was driving her as normal, and i didnt go anywhere for a couple of days and now everything is dead. I didnt leave lights on or forget to shut the door properly so the battery wouldnt have drained. put the car doesnt even turn over, AND there is just a ever so slight clicking when you turn the key, cant acyually hear it from inside the car.
anyone else got advice or comments?

clicking means low battery, so somehow it's not getting recharged. it's either 1) dirty terminals or 2) the alternator. sometimes when i leave the light **** switched to "on", even though the headlights aren't on, the battery dies on me

Even if your alternator is charging it can have a bad diode causing a discharge when not running...

The new battery is probably defective. It's not uncommon with these new batteries. I just replaced a 2 month old battery. Defective cell.

the battery would still have enough juice to run my lights, locks, windows, wipers or something right? I got nothing at all, could a new battery possibly drain that far? well im just going to take the battery to auto zone, didnt buy it there but just have them test it and if its not good than take it back to where i got it. hopefully i dont have an electrical or alternator problem.
thx
others please comment and give me advice
