Lexus Dealers vs. Toyota Dealers
Does anybody have any experiences taking your Lexus vehicle to a Toyota dealership for service? There is one Lexus dealer in my area and sometimes they aggravate the ^%$ out of me, consequently I need another place to service my vehicle. Also, my ECP warranty will be up soon and am concerned about spending more on service than I need to.
On routine visits, I assume oil changes would be using similar product, but on more extensive service calls, would there be any difference? I realize all parts are Toyota for both brands, but I would like to hear about your experiences and opinions. Please chime in...

I go to a Toyota dealership almost exclusively for any service work my car needs. Being a '93 it is long past its warranty period so that is not a concern.
The labour rate is cheaper but I've found them to be every bit as knowledgeable about the ES since it is mechanically pretty much identical to the Camry.
The Toyota dealership I go to has good customer service; they are very professional; they provide clean new loaner cars (albeit Toyota loaners, not Lexus) and they wash the car before you get it back (unless you ask them not to) even after something as simple as an oil change. I have no reservations at all about getting any work performed at a Toyota instead a Lexus dealership.
If the car was an LS, IS, or GS, perhaps it would be a different story since the Toyota techs would be far less familiar with these cars. However, the last time I was at the dealership, someone was dropping off a nice LS430 for servicing, so who knows!
