I think the part you are referring to is called a "pressure hose."

Check it out at www.newlexusparts.com. Enter "Radiator" as the part you are searching for and then enter your model of car. A diagram of all the various radiator and cooling fan components will come up. I think the part you are looking for is number 13. Their price is $89.31, which includes shipping.

Since you stated it was the "power steering hose" and not a "pressure hose" you're in for some fun. For my '92 the power steering hose is ridiculously expensive. I believe parts and labor for its replacement is going to run in excess of $600. Apparently this part is overengineered (according to the Lexus mechanic) with a valve and everything.

You didn't state what year yours is so it may be completely irrelevant to your situation.

Vehicle is a 1992 es300. The mechanic said it was the hose that goes into the cooling fan.....is that the one that you needed to replace?

I got mine replaced for like 200 bucks including the part from Lexus. Shop around it should not be that bad.

P/S HOSE, PRESSURE FEED, ES300 - POWER - POWER 92-93 $347.19 $288.17

This hose has a valve in it and cost me a lot more a few years ago from the dealer.

FYI, I bought my high pressure powersteering hose from toyolex on ebay for 120$ shipped, it came here within 2 days all the way from florida (im in chicago) ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT ) and works great, this is, both my feed and return hose were going bad and I only got this one replaced. So I dropped it off at the mechanics this morning and he should replace the lower hose, which is just a regular power steering hose. Man, not having a garage sure does suck.
