I'm interested in getting a wood dash kit. There are several sellers on the web & prices range from $117 to over $400. Many posts refer to exoticwooddash.com, but there are several others that are cheaper. Does anybody have experience with other wood dash sellers? Thanks!

Reason: add pic
I purchased the wood trim kit for my '01 ES a couple years ago, and installed it myself (about 30-45 min). Very easy to do, and the extra wood trim does make your interior look more complete
lexusk i noticed that they dont have the kit w/garage door opener on exoticwooddash.com does your 01 have the garage opener on it my 00 does???
If you're talking about the 3-button HomeLink system located behind the driver side visor, then yes, mine has what you have. There is no wood trim for that particular area. I believe for the wood trim kits offered for the '00-'01 models, they include wood for the area where the sunglass visor, map light and sunroof controls are located, just like in the pic below

I understand that. But on the 7 piece kit (WD316) what is part 5 (descirbed as w/o garage door remote control)? Is that the sunglass visor?
Hey lexusk8, is the kit you got OEM match (dark) or OEM match (light)? I think I got the same wood trim color as yours and I will be ordering one. Not sure I will be getting one for my wife's RX...it's more expensive and they don't have the strip for the glovebox. Thanks.
I know that some of you guys were happy with the product supplied by the above thread, but let me just give you some information that isn't supplied on their website.
I ordered my $210.00 wood kit from them this past Thursday. They sent me an email today stating that they require a signature for delivery. As most of us do, I work all day and since I live alone, there is absolutely no way to sign for the package that they're shipping. If you go to their shipping information page, nowhere does it state that a signature is required for delivery.
I called the company today to see what my options were. They stated that they will only ship to the address on my credit card and that there was no option as far as shipping to another address. They stated that once UPS cannot deliver the package, I can then go to the UPS depot where the package is sitting and pick it up. I told them that the nearest depot is 1 hour from me and that because of the distance that I drive for work prevents me from getting to a depot prior to 6 p.m there is no way that I can even do that, nor should I have to drive an hour to pick up a package because of their policy that isn't stated anywhere prior to purchase. The then said that they could email me a form that I could then print out and sign, then scan it back into an email which would state that I am taking responsibility for the package being left at my house without a signature. i don't have a scanner.
Their final response was that they were sorry, but they will not contact UPS and advise them that a signature is not require. I asked them to cancel my order, which they said that they would. They called back 10 minutes later and said that they can't cancel my order since the product shipped this morning and refused to credit my card for the amount of the purchase. So basically at this point, I'm going to have to take half a day off of work and drive two hours to the UPS depot to pick up this product. I'm losing as much in pay as I just spent for this product. Basically, I'm spending 400 bucks for a 200 dollar product. I really hope that this product is what they claim it to be!
Ultimately, I made out ok because I left a note on my door for the UPS guy. Gave him directions to my parents house and they were nice enough to drive there and deliver.
Just ordered one kit for my 2001. It took 9 days to get it because they didn't have in stock. When I emailed them to ask for a followup they told me the order was in production. But the final product matches the OEM wood dash very well.

bfx did you have the same problem as gabeshell where they would not deliver w/out a sig??

They didn't ask me for a signature. UPS came by and dropped the package. The wood dash pieces have adhesive applied on the back and stuck on a sheet of cardboard when they arrive. Be careful when you take the pieces off the cardboard (do it slowly) because the paper is very easily torn off the cardboard and gets stuck on the pieces.
