Default looking for wheels

I'm thinking of getting some new wheels in a couple of months but don't have a clue when it comes to size.. I know I want 18"s, I think 19"s are a bit too big for this car. but what is 18x8.5+30, 18x9.5+35, 18x9+22 I don't know what all that means. The way i'd want the fitment to look is similar to this white IS (user: IS200TFOWL), as far as the wheel gap or atleast close to that. I don't want the wheels tucked under, i'm not slamming the car. Also, are staggered wheels only for appearance? I was wondering if I should go with the same size for all wheels or doing it staggered.. From there i'd need to know tire sizes :| I do plan to put F-springs because of warranty (not sure if b/c it's void with aftermarket springs ie.. meigan, eibach..etc.) any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

I have roughly the same specs (225/40/18 +35 on 18x8), you'll be more than fine w/ the F-sport springs.

IMO, you'll have a similar look to IS200TFOWL, but it won't be as low - I would search how other CT's w/ 18s and springs look. You might want to consider coilovers, which will cost a bit more but you'll be able to change the height to your preference.
Short answer about staggered wheels, yes they are mainly for looks and I would say you don't need/want them since IS200TFOWL's wheels sit pretty deep in the wheel well. Staggering wheels also means your tires won't last as long due to the uneven tie wear (can only rotate 2 vs 4 wheels).
As far as warranty goes, read about Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act which basically says the insurance/dealership needs to have evidence that whatever problem comes from the car originated from the aftermarket part in order to prevent coverage.

Do you have a pic for reference and are you on springs and/or coilovers? I'd like to see how the fender clearance is and how the tires sit in the wheel well. I'll check out the threads for smiliar ct's, thanks. I also don't want to order the wrong size tire/wheels combos.

You'd have to do some searching to find what your exact fitment will look like. I would just google "CT200h + [make of wheels]+ [model of wheels]", but like I mentioned before, if clearance is a concern you'll be fine w/ those specs and F-sport springs.
I'm on Tanabe coil and I have 10mm rear spacers.

Sounds good. You think I should buy and do evryting all at once (install springs + wheels) to avoid having to do alignments twice?
