Inaccurate odemeter
I purchased my 2015 CT200h a little over a year ago and have just realized the odometer is not accurate. In the same day, and for the first time since I purchased, I ran it down until it said there was 3 miles of range left. When I filled it, there was over 2.5 gallons still in the tank. That would be more than 100 miles of range.
In addition, I went in to have a flat tire repaired, and they told me I was due for rotation anyway as it was at 10k miles. Impossible, since I'm retired and don't take road trips. I just bought a 2020 NX300h, and the 2011 Nissan Murano I traded was 9 years old and had 36k miles on it, so we used it 2 years for work until we retired in 2013.
So now I don't know how to correct. Obviously the 24k miles I purchased it with wasn't accurate, and it's devaluing the vehicle. Advice? Don't know where I should start, or if this can even be corrected. I estimate I drove 4-5k miles at most in 2019.

It's working fine. You are just making assumptions. There is a buffer programmed into the way the car calculates range. When you run the range down to 0, you actually have about 30-50 miles of range left at minimum.
Your car is working perfectly as designed, the range meter is not designed to be a live actual reading of actual remaining range, but more of an estimated calculated guess based on your driving habits along w/ a buffer built in so your pushing your luck doesn't turn into call to AAA.
Don't worry it's fine!
