Default EGR system cleaning

Hello CT fans.
It's been five months since I bought this great car and I realy love it. The only thing that bothered me was the high fuel consumption 7L/100km (33.6mpg). The car has 144000km and it is a 2011 model. So after reading a lot od posts about the EGR in this car, I decided to clean everything between exhaust to intake. It was terrible inside, like in a carbon factory. Only thing i used were a new gaskets and two cans of Valvoline EGR Cleaner + brush. The effect was amazing after cleaning. ICE is running much smoother (no more vibrations) and the consumption is Now 4,3L/100km (54.7mpg) in the city. Wow

2013 Ct200h 236k miles. Started running rough at slow speed after getting off on a 4 hr highway trip. Drove it another 4hrs home. Cleaned egr and tube. Still ran rough at start up and after it warmed up. Ended up having the engine replaced with a JDM imported engine with 50k on it. $1,680 out the door installed.
