Default EGR Valve location?

Ok so i just replaced the known Egr pipe that always cracks or breaks. Since then i have been getting p0401 code which is a EGR insufficent flow code. I was thinking that cleaning and testing the egr valve would be my first step. Does anyone know or preferably have pics or the Egr valve location? I am also going to take the Throttle body off and do a good cleaning. any advice would be greatly appreciated

Why not disconnect it? The throttle body and inlet get so dirty because of the EGR...

Is there not a how-to on this forum about the egr?

i have searched without finding anything. I don't like to disconnect things. Lexus spent millions of dollars in engineering and why would you want to try to change that. Plus the Egr help gas mileage

you *really* need to watch ebay and snag a deal on the real factory service manual

ok so i found out that the egr valve is located right beside the intake. Also going to clean the throttle body. Any recommendations? I have heard people say they had issues afterwards but i am guessing they did something wrong. new gaskets? also will reset the batt after.

I would at least clean the butterfly area, if not the entire throttle body, which is much more of a job

wear a respirator, as throttle body cleaner is very bad to breathe!
