iPad with Hands-free
2015 CT with Nav. Has anyone successfully connected an iPad for use with the Hands-free option?
It used to work for me… connect bluetooth to iPad as phone and media player. I had to delete all my music because it would start playing songs as soon as I used the hands-free. I removed all songs and everything worked fine, Siri would give me time, directions, messages, etc by using the tab on the steering wheel. Siri had much better verbal navigation than the OEM, although it didn't display the screen on the car monitor.
But lately with updates to IOS it has stopped. It usually works once, then I get a message that a “call in in progress” on the navigation screen and then nothing works (of course the iPad doesn’t make phone calls). Even the radio is not available until I shut down everything and reboot.
I’ve removed the devices and reinstalled them on the CT but that doesn’t help. Using the “hang up” button on the wheel doesn’t stop the “call in progress” message. Frustrating when something that used to work doesn't anymore.

I had this issue once, and it had something to do with my removing all the songs off my iPhone so that they wouldn't play as soon as I entered the car. Ended up buying a 99 cent song called SIlence and kept that on there.Solved all my issues.
