Default レクサス - lexus

Hi,

i'm new in this forum. I'm turkish, 29 y.o. Mechanical Engineer.
To introduce my car history: so far i just drove german cars (Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4 and BMW 1er). They all were unreliable a.f. with a lot of failures below 100.000km. I was just sick of them
So i gave Lexus a chance:

You don't say!! LOL. Welcome to the wrold of Lexus's luxurious reliability. I came from a BMW 7 Series that was basically a disposable car and into an LS460. Our CT200h is my wife's and she came from a BMW X5 that was equally as unreliable as the 7 series. The German's should hang their heads in shame with the SHI* that they've been producing over the last 20 years..

The Germans may produce **** but their marketing is far better than their cars.
In Europe nearly nobody even knows a brand called "Lexus". Some thought it's a cheap unknown US brand others mistake the "L"-Logo as a "K" and think it's a KIA:

LOL.
Most Europeans laugh at Lexus and call it a "rice bowl" But i'm fine with that as long as the car is reliable...
Lexus should invest in a more aggressive marketing like the Germans.

They could invest in more aggressive marketing, but unlike the Germans, IMHO, the Lexus brand practically sells itself. Those in the know, already know .

Exactly. Regardless, I have lots of family in Spain and France, and they know what Lexus is. I've been there every two years for the last 6 years and saw my fair share of Lexus's. Naturally, they know more about BMW, MB, etc but Lexus isn;t exactly unknown.

Nice car. Have had over 100,000 miles on our old SC430. Like you, we're excited to another 100,000 miles in our new CT200h.

With proper maintenance, my CT is past 240,000 miles without a single problem. I doubt I would have gotten that with a German car.
