Default Object Stuck in Nav

My wife put a plastic toll reader near the navigation screen. Somehow, by opening and closing itself, the navigation screen has managed to "eat" the device. It is now stuck underneath the navigation screen, and we are unable to get it out. Does anybody have any advice on how we can remove it?

Thanks in advance!

Does it affects the closing and opening of the nav? If its not then the only solution is just to leave it there then get a new toll car reader. However, if it's vice versa then i guess you have to take it out

Scroll down to step 12.
Keep scrolling to see all the pictures.
I took it apart to get access to connect hdmi to the screen using the ivic.

You have to remove the screen to get under it.
it may take you 30 min to do it all and put back together.
It is a hassle.

You can buy the plastic pry tools for cheap at habor freight, but using a plastic spatula could also work.

another simple way to get under the dash is to just remove the instrument cluster (speedometer housing.) I was surprised how easy it comes off. You just remove the clips on the top of the steering column that attach the vinyl gap cover by pulling. Then the entire unit just pulls off the dashboard (the instrument cluster and the housing that holds the start button) You can easily unhook the start button from behind and you can move it out of the way.
