I'm trying to replace my license plate lights with LEDs but can't figure out how to remove the old bulb. Anyone able to provide me some instructions? attached a picture of what the housing looks like. I can pop the grey piece out but it is too big to fit thru the opening so I can't remove it.

Yea I'm curious about this too. I just looked at my 2015 and it's the same as the picture above. It's not a turn counter clockwise like the older models.

 

What are you guys trying to do ?? Your car already have LED license plate lights !!

Didn't know they are already LEDs. No wonder they look brighter than the puddle light
