Hello everyone,
My Lexus CT200h 2013 recently started making a knocking sound from the engine and it shakes a lot cleaned the EGR pipes but it had nothing to do with that. Also the exhaust takes white smoke out that smells like fuel.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this before or similar problem. The car has 203000 miles by the way. Thank you in advance.

I'm gonna say head gasket. We got ours replaced on pilot, the warranty was good for 15 months or 20k miles. The effing engine locked up at 19k and 16 months later 🤣😭😭💀 like I will NEVER put money into a blown head gasket EVER again. It was so expensive.
The thing is these CTs are meant to last, so if it's having that type of issue, I'd just get rid of it, it's not worth the potential headache. An engine is going to be thousands, especially since these cars last so the parts aren't that common, I can't even find a painted bumper.
We put $7500 into that Pilot over 2 yrs for it to do that to us. I'm telling you, bad time messing with a blown head gasket ☹️
