Default problem installing licence plate led bulbs

Now I must look like a total newbie or idiot...

While trying to install my led bulbs for the licence plate I decided to unplug the cable holding the bulb base installer the new led bulbs which wasn't really tight and while trying to reinstall, I don't know what happened but everything fell inside the hatchback trunk.

So now I only have 1 licence plate light working and the other 2 pieces and in there moving up and down when open or close the trunk...

anybody has an idea if I can unmount all the pieces from the trunk door in order to try to get access to those pieces ?

Thanks

Good luck!

Note - remove both rear light assemblies, left and right.

No need to do all that. Just fish it out with a thin metal coat hanger. It happened to me. Have patience you'll get it.

In this particular case unmounting the whole thing was necessary, as I had lost both the plastic part and the light... the light came out by itself when I took out the side panel but the plastic piece was sticked on some black kind of glue... strange stuff
