Does anyone know any specs on this amplifier? The only thing I have been able to determine from literature is that it is a Class D amp. I wonder how much power it puts out? Where is it located?

I want to replace the speakers but don't know if the amp will have to be replaced or not.....pretty sure it will but thought I would check it out before just replacing.

I am thinking that my high end component speakers in the front doors and tweeters with a couple more small mids replacing those on the front dash may just have enough mid bass to not require a new sub and separate amp. The problem is I probably need at least 50W per channel to run my components if I am going to get any mid bass out of them.

 

Well, I have asked the service department at my local dealership to find this information for me.....we will see how that works out.
