Default 2 amps?

Sorry - this is kind of a follow-up to another question I had asked about changing out the stock speakers but my thread got moved to the general audio forum. I now have an IS specific question so I'm reposting here...

Does the IS have 2 separate amps for the base / stock sound system - one for the sub and one for the remaining 12 speakers? Or, does the one amp in the trunk operate all 13 speakers?

I think there is only one amp that powers up all the speakers and the sub. I think the amp is located in the right rear of the trunk under the cover. you can take look at it to see.

It's only 1 amp powering all the speakers. I have 2 amps now. The stock amp to power my mids and highs and the JL 500/1 to power my 2 JL Audio 10s. I got my amp installed at Car Toys in Humble by the way. They charged me $300 for the installation and all the wires. I used the JL Audio 1ga wires that's why it was so much. I think just on the wires it was $175.
