2011 vs 2012 CT200
Ask the dealer.......I believe the special edition not sure when the F-Sport was released. Remember the car got delayed for months because of Japans earthquake. They fixed a stereo issue. iirc.

no changes. However, even though it is 2K cheaper now, it counts as an "extra" year of ownership when you sell it back out and you get hit by another year of depreciation

2012 Lexus CT 200h: An all-new model in 2011, the Lexus CT 200h receives only minor changes for 2012. There are now two F Sport packages available on the premium model. The standard package includes a retuned suspension, 17-inch wheels, a mesh front grille and the all-important larger spoiler, in addition to interior upgrades like aluminum sport pedals, metallic dash trim, a leather-trimmed F Sport steering wheel, unique seat trim and a black headliner. The F Sport Special Edition packages adds its own special 17-inch wheel design, blue-trimmed seats, F Sport floor mats and, get this, a matching Tumi duffel bag. Nice. On the color front, Nebula Gray Pearl replaces Smokey Granite Mica on standard models. The base F Sport package is available in Matador Red Mica, Nebula Gray Pearl, Obsidian Tungsten Pearl, Starfire Pearl and Ultrasonic Blue. The Special Edition F Sport package is only available with Nebula Gray Pearl, Starfire Pearl or Tungsten Pearl.
F-Sport is new for 2012. Smokey Granite is replaced with Nebula Gray for '12 as well. If F-Sport and Nebula is not significant for you, definitely jump on the 11 with the best discounts.
I haven't seen if that can be disabled or not yet, I'm guessing it can be, but would likely have to be done @ the dealer (assuming there's no liability in them making that change)!
Good luck.

Those aren't the only differences. Tom59's link provides what most of the updates are...so if you get the 2012, you'll get the pedestrian warning system that makes audible warning while you're in pure EV mode. Glad I have a 2011 for that reason.

Yes the ped. warning noise sounds like a space ship buzzing kind of sound. You can't disable it as it is a safety function.
