I noticed that there are two small LEDs on the front overhead console next to the rearview mirror. On my car, only the passenger side turns on. I thought this was strange so I contacted my dealer and they confirmed that the two CT200h cars on their lot also turned on only on the passenger side. Does anyone have a car where both turn on? I'm wondering if this is a defect.

 

My wife just told me that the other light is for the SOS system.

 

When you turn on sport mode,your dash turns red and the tach ir read,the overhead light switches over to the other light which is red

 

yes that is exactly right.

it's hard to see either light in the daytime.

if you switch between regular and sport, you will see that the left hole houses the blue light and the right hole houses the red.

 

Interesting...in my CT, the passenger (right) side is blue and red is on the left/drivers side.

 

same in mine.
