Default GF Performance Chip

I wanted to see if anyone has tried or are currently using the GF Performance Chip.

http://www.gfchips.com/lexusct200h.aspx

They claim to be able to re-program your ECU without disassembling the ECU(?) and that it won't affect the factory warranty. Claims are that it'll increasy the HP and improve the gas mileage.

I don't know anything about the company so I wanted to float it out there to hear people's thoughts or experiences.

don't waste your time with this nonsense. you're better off spending your money on a couple tanks of gas instead. these chips will do nothing for the ct200h.

Agreed cenix. Reminds me of the turbonator hoax too...increase HP and mileage!? Just another gimmic.

No Toyota or Lexus to date can be "chipped". Whoever claims they can is totally wrong. We've had vendors here over the years that claim they have "broken" the ECM code. Needless to say, they no longer exist and people who bought into their BS are out several hundred dollars out of pocket.

Plus the gains are unsubstantiated. Rent dyno time to see a difference......exactly, out the money and maybe a warranty.
