could be, but i say it's not likely the exhaust. coz' unless the cop can tell that there is no cat, or the exhaust is excessively loud, sending someone to ref coz' of exhaust is kinda rare, coz' exhaust doesn't affect the emission (even cat back). i think the different engine and the intercooler/intake kinda gave it away. intake without sticker is indeed illegal and will affect emision

damn -.- van's car won't pass smog though with those 1000cc injectors, single turbo upgrade ,, hope it works out, ^_^
