so I pulled the codes and its bank 1 and bank 2 (running lean)

looks like this is where the piggyback ECU taps in...So either I find the wire info or I go back to OEM intake

K&N drop-in FTW. These OBDII are too sensitive for tube intakes.

Did you check if the F intake works for the 3GS?

so if one of the 2GS guys is interested let me know. I am going to take this off tonight. I cant get the wire info and I dont want to keep driving and I have no clue if this will even work. Better to just let it be with a 2Gen GS owner since that is what is was meant for. I will just have to find one that is meant for my car. I am the 1st to use this and its been on my car for 1 week and ~50 miles if that. I dont drive this much anymore.

My thought is maybe using the stock pipe with the cone filter, that way you will still get the awesome sound and it will flow less air. I am not giving up on this!

To my knowledge SRT was waiting on a car to get the pre-tuned boxes to release this for the 3gen. Your other option is to get an Apexi Neo and have the car dyno tuned to correct your fuel trim levels. This really opened up the 3UZFE motor. I think I just saw a used SRT listed, forget what car its from, but if its from a 2gen GS it will bolt up as you see in my pics. V8 & V6 are different but the rest will work and its possible the tune from SRT will also work. The 3UZFE was also used in the 2gen GS assuming this is the same engine (V8) that you have.

I know this is old, but did anyone notice an increase from the K&N drop-in?

Also, for anyone usign the F-sport - how has the experience been?

Just bought a '06 GS430 and I'm looking for a little bump in power.

Brian231 would swear by them, so I would get one.

F-Sport, IMO, is nothing more then sound. If your looking for some gains get one of Greedy Roots Blower kits, assuming there still for sale in the classifieds. Other then this your not going to get much out of this car. I tried, had the kit, then sold it and the car...

Good to know about the F-sport. A blower may be a little more than I need. Thanks for the feedback.
