What a great time! pics on SF forum
That was a great time!!! I wish I got there earlier!
The weather was perfect! Sunny and there was a slight north wind that kept you cool and it wasn’t humid as it was in the Chicagoland area.
GLD crew kept the cars flowing and the when we mixed in with the other racers and the bike's there was no long waits or gaps between race group. Now that was impressive coordination of the different classes/racers. Shout out to the GLD crew for a great job!
Also, give a shout out each of you who attended and the spectators. They stayed off the track, the water box and stayed behind the fence and sat in the stands. Thanks for respecting track safety rules! It makes such a huge difference!
Shout out to all those who came out from all over regardless of the misleading weather forecast and encountering the trip up north and the rain. It was a great day to go racing and everyone who wimped out missed a fantastic time.
Let’s not forget.... THANK YOU NELSON! for your coordination efforts. It was a pretty dam good turn out! I tried to count the number of cars and it seemed there were at least 30+ who attended CHI2K8!
