Hey Guys/Gals,

I'm the main organizer for CHI2K8 (Chicago's Supra Meet) and I'd like to invite you guys to come on out and have some fun! If you are sick and tired of all the waiting in line you have to do during RSD or Test & Tune, just to get 2 or 3 runs in, then stop on by! I'm inviting a few special car forums to enjoy in all the festivities. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me.

BTW, pack a cooler or have some lunch beforehand. Consession stands will not be open for lunch!

I have a lexus, but is it ok to bring my del sol to run? Ill bring the lex to the dyno day and car show :)

Fridays are kind of tough for me. How late in the day does the event go??? Noon until when???

this is a great event! bring what you have! On this day you can run you car wideopen down a race track and see how fast you can go! even better, tell your friends and call then out for some heads-up racing!

This is also an opportunity to see some amazing and exotic cars and bikes and even trucks!

Keep safety in mind... if your racing, you'll need pants (cotton) and helmet. If your not running crazy fast, you'll only need long pants.

Look for me at the track. I'll have the silver dodge ram, with a sliver trailer and the silver 1st Gen!

I work on Fridays like most people. I would love to come but I won't be able to get there until later in the afternoon. Let us know..

Yeah I've still got your number. I'm still up in the air on this event though. If I don't get out of work early enough there's no way I'm making it to Great Lakes from the West Loop in any sort of timely fashion.

We can play it by ear though. I'll be sure to let you know what I do.

Oh and I also have heard it may rain on Friday too.

ill most likely bring my del sol and ill come with a buddy who has an mr2. For the dyno and the car show ill bring out the lexus.

We have the track till it closes, but they open to the public @ 5PM. You might not get all the runs you want when it opens to the public.

My suggestion to you is tell your boss you have a bad case of diarrhea (that excuse always works!) and come at noon!

Vik I don't think I'm going to be able to attend this drag event. I'll probably be working later on Friday. Sorry to disappoint. You should head out anyways, it's a ton of fun. I'll let you know if I change my mind
