Very nice! I am having a hard time getting this??

Kind of surprised that its not a special color or something unique to identify its for Window Tint!

Was it hard to obtain? I have problems with my eyes and went back to them as I have a note in the car. They wouldnt fill out the form and said I had to go to my doctor? problem is I dont have a regular doctor...

Thanks for sharing!

Did you ever decide on the NEW car from your last post?

nice catch! Got my wife to get the form signed by her regular doctor. I think it said ivutis or something like that.

Right now I'm waiting for the 09 CLS63 to come out, White on Black. My last 2 cars are huge sedans(S430 and LS460) so I'm ready for something sportier and the AMG is killer.

Ha....pimp! I still don't think I can pull this off cause my bro is a doc up at Mayo...I guess the physician has to be in IL? Anyways I'll just keep with the doctor's note in the glove compartment...luckily I've never had any problems...

^^Jeff the state of IL is requesting for those who have TINT on the front windows due to a medical reason that they have a special form filled out by your doctor and sent into the state. This way Cops will not pull you over just for having tints on your window. Good if you get harassed about this in you area. I have the doctors note from my Eye Doctor for when I am pulled over and seem to have no issues. Its worth the 75$ IMO...

I forgot what the form says, I think the doctor has to fill in their license# for the state. I got 3 tickets in the past 2 weeks for no seatbelt but they never said anything about the tint. Right now I have 35% and want to go darker.

Got my first ever window ticked today in like 13+ years!! There was no way to get around it. I showed her all my doctor stuff, showed her the new registration form I was working on, explained I do not have a regular doctor and just recently moved. All was in BLK & White and she just kept laughing at me then looked to see if I had a front plate. Glad I put that on!!

We must have talked for 30 min for her to still issue me a ticket. She said I did not follow state guides and I need to find a better pair of sun glasses? I was very nice and pleasant with her! Dressed in a suit.

Of course I was way down south so I have a drive to show up for court....

I've gotten pulled over onc ein a blue moon for my tints (5% rears, 20% fronts) and each time it's a warning.
each time i say "oh my gosh, really>? i'm so sorry, I didn't know I see all the luxury cars have it nowadays and didn't know!!!" and they go "well it is you might want to take that front tint off"

I just say "will do sir!"
and they give me back my stuff.

Funny they believe me.. they see a done up car and they think I don't know about tint? oh well.

I hereby certify that the physical condition of the person with the disability listed herewith constitutes him/her as a person with the qualifying
disabilities as described under 625 ILCS 5/3-412 and 5/12-503. WARNING: Any person who knowingly misuses or makes a false or misleading
statement on the application may be fined up to $1,000. PHYSICIANS: Do not sign this form if the patient does not meet the above definition.
This was a smart move on IL's part. The doctors note was pretty informal and carried very little liability for the MD. Now, doctors will be registered in a database and on record stating you have this illness. Why would a doctor take the risk? I know I wouldn't ask my brother to do this for me just so I could have front tints.
