hey Guys anybody know how much a lexus tune up cost? I'm getting ready to have my car delivered and I would like to know what prices people have gotten from the dealers. tb/waterpump and anything else .

Well, we would have to know what car/year/mileage to give you an idea.

98 GS300...I'm assuming.

Tune ups you can do yourself if you have time.
VVTi so plugs and wires. There are a few threads on how to get by the nifty intake and throttle location.

Dealer....just hand them your wallet.
SC300, IS300 and GS300 are pretty much the same drive line. Also the 98 Supra NA (various little differences per model, but essentially the same guts)

Sooooo you can get work done at a Toyota dealership for a little less cash...But make sure the mechanic has worked on a 2JZ.

Check out Dmitry in the SC section (97-SC300). He's knows a bit about labor and prices from a dealer.

it's a 99 gs 400. 109k on the odometer. the previous owner got the plugs and water pump replaced. all fluids drained and replaced. so the t/b is the only thing that was not replaced don't understand why if you have the waterpump out why not just change the belt.anyway thats the only thing i want to replace is the t/belt . any help will be very helpful thanks guys
