Chicago Tint Shop Thread
"wow" you really are obnoxious. I'll post pics when I find some time, no worries..
but not sure what you expect to see, really. it's just a tint job.
plus the bubles are not 100% gone (cured) so that would probably give you more reason to wine & try to put Nino down

This coming from the one that must have been monitoring this thread to reply back so quickly
never said one negative thing about Nino or his work...maybe you should go back and read my post(s)
go ahead and post back what I said about his work

adding this as an option for those in the burbs, prices I am told are incredible and so is the quality of his work. I know one member has used him for years and I got to see the work up close and personal on two cars now. I will let that member chime in if they would like to comment about his work. I plan to "cheat" and go have my sons car done after seeing the work and being local to me. I wont post his prices or anything, you can call and ask questions if you want to. Just another option for anyone looking for quality work at a "fair" price especially in the burbs.

There a a number of quality, professional tint shops and installers the our area. This forum is a good source for recommendations around Chicagoland.
I've used two very good ones in the SW suburbs. Tint To U (Llumar film) in Orland Park and Abe's (3M) in Mokena.

I love reading this forum, especially when reviews are made. This is what a forum is all about. I was contemplating Ceaser or Nino to do my Clear Bra. Read about both and both have positive reviews. Not really wanting to make a city run and wanting to stay in the burbs, I went with Nino.
Impressions of Nino: Class Guy who went out of his way to take care of me.
Pros: Know's his stuff
Con's: None.
He was also doing a Jeep Grand Cherokee window tint. I was so impressed, I am now contemplating doing my windows…..His works sells itself.

I had similar but opposite experience. I had my car in for tinting on Saturday, and Abe showed me an Audi Q7 and a Mini that were both getting clear bra - And now I'm thinking about getting on the new car.
Very interesting to watch him work, although after a very short time I left him alone to do his stuff.

Just had to post this comment…
I so much appreciate how the process of installing Clear Bra on a car is done and can totally understand why it costs money to have it installed. At first, I was skeptical of the cost. But watching the process at Umbra and how skilled and effortlessly it was installed I am thankful that I went to Umbra. Why……Today, I went to Brighton Car Detail to get my car hand washed. Washing of the car to about 35 to 40 minutes. The bay next to my car, a new taxi was getting a clear bra installed on the nose of the car. The installer for 35, 40 minutes fought like crazy to just get it wrapped around the front nose to align it. When I was watching my install at Umbra, see above pics, within a minute it was on and ready to be cut into the outline of the nose. I am so glad I went with umbra, if I had gone to say the detail shop mentioned, I would have walked out because it looked like this installer had no idea what he was doing. Sitting here writing this, I wonder if it's still on the taxi.
My point is, thanks to this forum, people's opinion really help guide and give peace of mind to so many topics and issues. Merry Christmas Illinoians.

The "new" Lexus with that bumper must be so fun to put clear bra on. I don't think Cesar does clear bra? Never had mine done by him.
The clear bra is a good idea with the softer paint on the Lexus. It will pay for its self
A320 - how do you like your Lexus? did it replace a prior Gen? curious to see real world feedback to those that are local, drive these same crappy roads, ect with the new direction Lexus has taken. I have yet to sit and drive the new ES & GS. Seeing a few new ES but not many of the new GS yet.
