My GS is in Glenview right now getting the drivers side headlight replaced under warranty. There was condensation on the inside and I couldn't get rid of it. Lexus of Naperville said that it wasn't under warranty so I stopped up at Bredeman and they were totally cool. Jeff called up Lexus and told them I had a half inch of standing water in my headlight A little fib never hurt anyone! He said that Lexus is really hesitant to cover it because the headlights are 1k a piece!

Anways they gave me a brand new ES350 (i was hoping to get a new GS). I must say though, I pulled out onto 294 and realized that the new ES has some serious *****! Interior is pretty nice too. I'm glad that Lexus finally shaped up to compete with the TL.... Oh and I think the keyless/touch entry and start are totally cool also....

 

How on earth did you scam a new headlight?!!?
I should've tried Bredemann for my ML amp when it went out last year. Highland Park made me pay almost $600 for it. My car was at 55K miles and it had a documented issue w/ the amp while it was still in warranty before i bought it. They wouldn't cover it for me. Good deal for you Steve!

I wanna check out the new ES now.

 

we just gave in our GS430 for the recall on the steering wheel mechanism, and we also got a brand new ES350, i agree with the ***** part lol
