The new Accord front grill and headlights remind me of the discontinued Taurus

Agreed. The last bit of hope would be the next Camry, which is getting closer. If Toyota can create something decent, it could spark some new sedan interest.

Although people keep saying the sedan is dead, what's really dead is the V6 family sedan.

funny they went all hybrid only for sport models. i do dig the sport models, but it's sad to hear of this change - just like the death of the 3 pedals in the last gen!

The redesign is okay. Most buyers would like to stay under the radar and not show off. It’s a Honda, so we know it will run for a long time.

Lots of Ford in general.. the side profile and body line also looks like the Fusion, and the front grille/headlight is pretty similar to the new Mustang as well

I agree with you, quite good style overall yet mature and reserved/understated.

I hate the fact that the good engine is now paywalled behind Acura. That's a mistake IMO with how fast the 10th gens were getting but now they will hold status as possibly the best gen so far.

Just another car ruined. First they kill the V6. They replace it with an insanely fast (and economical) 2.0t. Now they ripped that away and you're stuck with a hybrid or some teeny NA 4 pot.

Sorry I'm always against the grain if it's so negative, but cars just suck now. I got 31MPG highway in my 2006 TL 6 speed. The V6 engine in that thing was amazing.

The top Accord offers a whopping 206hp now.

Not as true as it used to be, IMO. Honda's quality standards have slipped, and the 1.5T is a highly stressed little engine dragging around a pretty large car.

Debatable........Honda has been slipping downward in quality for a while.

I like the changes especially the interior. Wish they bring back the excellent J35 v6.

my choice in this segment would be the camry xse v6. I have a feeling camry will also ditch the v6 in next redesign

I saw this rear view image on C&D. It looks very good to me. Too bad about the loss of the 2.0t engine though. C&D calls it the best looking Accord ever.
Never mind. I just noticed a rear view shot further up in the thread.
