Yea it's a hot mess. The font and spacing is def really weird.

All caps lettering like Lexus is doing with some upcoming models would've helped.

I agree, all caps would have certainly helped. But afaik Honda have always used lower case, lexus always upper case. So I guess they are following their tradition.

I think H o n d a lettering works better simply because kerning on RANGE ROVER lettering is super bad.

I think that Honda script is a throwback to how it looked in the 60's
