I'm talking about engines that were great on paper and when they worked, but had fatal design flaws. Nothing to do with "abuse", nice try though. That's pathetic engineering, sorry. Design an engine with an 8k redline but you have to watch it, getting close to 8k because the engine might blow (E46 M3). The modern TTV8 BMWs are a nightmare. BMWs are a lot of things but reliable they're not.
You’re one of those I’ve never had a BMW and rely on 2nd hand rumors people. Then you continuously talk about one engine the V8. Are you saying the B58 and newer S58 are unreliable? LOL please post the horror stories of those engines. Good luck. Oh and how about you go tell Toyota what they don’t know because that motor is in the Supra.
