See ya Lexus!
I’ve been a loyal customer for over 15 years but have reached my breaking point waiting for the new NX. Going to buy either a BMW or Lincoln this weekend. Maybe I’ll see you again one day.
Another month waiting for NX for me, I couldn't go to BMW X3 or Genesis 2.5T was that both lacked a Heads up Display which is mandatory for me. RDX has an awful console and GLC is old and getting a major redesign next year. XC60 is priced high unnecessary and Q5 is bland. I hate every nissan/infinity stylings. No other option for me other than waiting for NX 350h
Good luck finding an X3 or 5 on a dealer lot that isn’t bare minimal on options, there stripped due to parts shortages if you can even find one. Also the X3 4 cylinder turbo has no premium sound system. They removed the premium Harmon Kardon on 2022. It can only be put on an X3 M40i. Even that model is not getting it due to chip shortages. The base sound system sucks in that SUV.
Shortage of vehicles is affecting all automakers not just Lexus. Not fair to just blame Lexus.

But the frustration is understandable. Tesla is the only company that saw the problem and because they are small and a computer company they were able to buy processors on the spot market and so far have been able to keep up with demand. From what I have seen here BMW, MB, and Acura all the same problem.

Heck the X3 doesn't have radar cruise control as standard. For a 43k base car! X2 doesn't even have brake hold.BMW makes some amazing driving cars but they're pretty hard to live with.
I got the Corsair Grand Touring and wile the infotainment system is the most outdated aspect of the vehicle, the rest of the tech is first-rate (including massaging seats) and the vehicle rides like a dream. It's also plug-in so I have been saving quite a bit on gas.
My Lincoln dealer didn't gouge me on price.
This is the absolute worst year ever for buying a vehicle due to the shortage. Nobody can get what they want. Yeah, I wanted a Lexus, but I am definitely not disappointed with my Lincoln.
review of the Lincoln, looks like a nice car, but the nx450h+ for me was worth the hassle, and it was a real hassle.

It is absolutely outdated and the worst aspect of purchasing the vehicle. However, using it for two weeks now, it no longer bothers me in the scheme of things.
