General Car Conversation
Steve,
What do you mean when you say,
"First month drive off"
"I'm not doing this deal if its not $720 a month for 36 months with $720 out of pocket"
Does this mean you're paying the 1st payment in cash?

When you lease, the first payment is due at the time you accept the car. So I believe he was stating that he'll pay no more at drive-off than the first payment (no additional down payment) and that the payments must be no more than $720.
Congrats on the new arrival. That looks kind of like Flaxen? How long does the battery last you? Do they not recommend 100% for daily drive? Does it come with air suspension? For some reason, BMW has it on the plug ins but not everyone does. I wonder what their reason is.
Congrats on Chrysler Pacifica #3!
I like the design changes they made for the facelift.
Audi Q5 and Vw Atlas are coming with Nexen Roadians now. Is that what your Pacifica has? New Mercedes S class has Hankooks or Bridgestones….

I do like them but the paint job I found unimpressive.
Now I wish I sat in it but didn't want to impose since I wasn't buying anything.
Thanks All!
haha could be, the blue on the Pacifica is really more of a teal color, very different than the last blue or the Mercedes Blue.
Haha, I know
First month you usually pay out of pocket (you don't have to)
Very similar to Flaxen! No air suspension. Battery is good for 35 miles of EV range, my wife will hardly ever use gas

Mine also came with crappy Nexens. A nail in the shoulder of one at 1100 miles resulted in a change to Continentals. It's good that they have done away with the metal trim ring on the steering wheel. I typically get low to mid-30s of electric range in warm weather. It falls by about one-third when it turns cold.
It's amazing that the Pinnacle MSRP has increased by 10 grand in just 2 years.

Hey, at least give those tires a try......even if they aren't Michelins or Continentals, you might still decide you like them...you've already told us it rides better than your former Pacifica.
Interesting color combo....camel-tan interior and dark-teal paint. Teal has long-been one of my favorites....we saw it on some vehicles in the 90s, but not a lot of it since. I would have considered it on my Encore GX if it was available.
They are loud already, I'm going to replace them just have to decide what to get. It rides better because its heavier, also 18s vs 20s, but you can tell the tires are keeping It from riding as well as it could. Worth $1,000 to get good tires on it.
I notice it uses the Mercedes-style power-seat control......you push or pull a mini-profile of the seat itself, except, in this case, on the bottom of the seat instead of on the driver's door panel.
It also has mudflaps on it I will be removing tomorrow!
Now that you mention it, yes, it is similar, but not exactly.
That's one thing I will give Mercedes credit for...they first came up with that idea for the profile seat-controls, and I thought it was an excellent one.
You don't plan on driving it in bad weather? Last year, of course, we got by in the D.C. area almost without any snow or salt on the roads, but this coming winter is not likely to be a repeat.
