Ha my cars almost certainly suffer from fuel dilution. Most days ~5mi trips are the norm and depending on what’s going on some can go a solid month without being driven for more than 10 minutes at a time.
i know you're not in the u.s. but manuals here are as rare as unicorns.
likely dealer/agency replaced the wipers and didn't install them correctly. if whole arms came off though, that's bizarre.
The giggles about my buddys Chevy Spark rental keep on coming. He was driving home today and it came a huge downpour, so he turned on the wipers to high. Both wiper arms immediately flew off never to be seen again lol

Sounds to me like the car was previously in a collision or got its windshield replaced (do they take the wiper arms off for that?) and someone didn't follow through as well as they should've.

This brings up one of the very few disagreements I have with my brother over automotive issues. I don't like (and never have liked) the idea of putting a slick film on the windshield, but he swears by Rain-X glass treatment. He says that rain rolls off so efficiently that you don't need wipers at all.

Oh yes. There are MANY houses here that keep an old beater to go to the local stores on my street alone and I know that's the case due to talking to everyone. Mostly it's the other car guys/people with high end cars since we all have "extra" cars/don't like using our nice ones for a literal 3.4 mile drive
I do take only the Mercedes to Aldi bc they have HUGE spots in pickup lanes and they don't care when they see me with a cane (still on upswing), and nobody uses them.

i think only certain places like tech companies are packed more with teslas. In general it’s not. I see more around me than the bay areas which totally surprised me because evs can get on carpool lanes there and some require 3 occupants not 2.

I'm just sort of dumbfounded that there aren't appreciably more Teslas in SF than a suburb of a medium sized city like West Knoxville in the Southeast. People love their Teslas at home, lol.

Unrelated but need answer quick. If I paid the $115 or whatever for the “fill up” with Enterprise so I don’t get gas do I get credited back for what’s in there when I take it back in the morning?

The reason they offer the "fuel service option" at lower than market rates is because the vast majority of the time they'll get back a partially-full tank and make a profit. One or two gallons would be enough for a normal car, they might need 3 in the F150 to come out positive. Any more than that is pure gravy.

pre-paying for gas is just annoying as i don't want to have to 'plan' to bring it back empty.

Loss damage waiver is not worth the expense. It’s very limited coverage. If you read the fine print, if anything happens to the car resulting in damage in excess of wear and tear scratches, you need a police report. Cracked taillight, not your fault? With no police report, you are on the hook. Perhaps that’s changed now because many departments won’t roll a unit for a non injury accident. My guess is it’s incumbent upon the customer to go to a police station and get a report. Either read the contact or more simply, don’t but the LDW.
