I guess its all how you look at it. I think LS430s are fine stock. The top of line flagship Lexus, I wouldn't touch...what's the point? "ooh i got the illest fixed-up Luxury Sedan w/22s and 10-JL10w6s" uuh yah.

But hey like Guru said "Maybe its your soul you'd sell to have mass appeal".
Nice Gangstar quote, on of my favorite videos, LOL

As far as hooking up a flagship vehicle, IMO no vehicle is beyond a personal touch. Even if you get a 130k M/B, somebody, somewhere has the same car! If I ever happen onto that person, I want my car to look different!!

Also, the Auto Couture kit that I posted is clean and classy, most folks would probably wonder what you modded other than the wheels

Stock LS430- "matured individual"

A/C LS430- person with taste that dares to be different! Wish I had the $$$ to afford one!

You guys are crackin' me up with your preconceived ideas about age groups. I'm in my 40's and... just my personal opinion... I wouldn't even consider the LS430 for another 10 years or so. Maybe because I live in So. Florida, but every time I see one the driver has gray hair (and I don't, by the way). Or maybe it's because my father owned an LS400. But those aren't even the reasons. Even at my ADVANCED AGE, I still prefer a smaller, more nimble car.

I tried the top-of-the-line Lexus, the SC430, and ended up selling it because it was a little too sedate. I'm now very happy with my GS3 Sportdesign because it is lighter and better handling. No, it doesn't have the HP, but HP doesn't really matter if the tranny can't keep up (referring to SC430). I'll be adding L-tuned springs and 18" rims to dial up the fun factor a little. I would have gone for the GS430, but I really wanted the Saddle interior.

Who cares if a new model is coming out? The current one is beautiful. And if you have enough money to afford an LS, just trade the old GS for a new one when the '05 is introduced. I'm not denying the LS430 is a beautiful car and the ultimate in luxury. It's just not my personal choice. You asked for opinions... I'd say go for the GS430.

If you are going to modify, GS would not have the neck snapping factor as LS does. There are simply too many of them moded and the design will change soon. Stock LS are for older crowd but there are not many cars that can touch a VIP moded LS in uniqueness and style. And whoever said that GS was faster? Don't we have jbrady's LS that does a better 0-60 then similar years GS?
